Our Percussion Master Class Is Happening This Thursday!

The NOLA-B MECCA Master Class for percussionists is only a few days away. Here's everything what you need to know before you show up!

• The Session is FREE for everyone under 18
• Free for Band Directors who have previously registered for our Master Program.
• $5.00 for everyone 18 and above
• Everyone must register via our website: nolalegacybands.org
• You're Required to bring your drum sticks and drum pads

M.E.C.C.A Master Class | Percussion

The New Orleans Legacy Association of Bands is hosting a FREE Master Class for Percussionists, ages 13-18! Local Band Directors who have registered with the MECCA Master Directors can attend, free of charge as well. Here's your opportunity to learn from Master Percussionist and John F. Kennedy Alumnus, Eddie Christmas!

M.E.C.C.A Masters Program | Percussion Master Class

The New Orleans Legacy Association of Bands presents our first master class for students. via our Musical Excellence Creates Consistent Achievement (M.E.C.C.A) Masters Program.

Below are details about the upcoming class which is open to all students in and around the new orleans area.

Percussion Fundamentals	Drum Kit Fundamentals
Rudiments Techniques S\tick control	How to utilize drum corps techniques for playing a live set Playing live drums with band and tracks
Question and Answer Segment

Students must come to class with their drumsticks and drum pads.

Our First MECCA Masters Masters Symposium

The Symposium is a four session program designed specifically for all band directors and their staff. Each session will be conducted by legendary & influential musicians who are excited to share their wisdom and know-how with you!
